Every room has a focal point, whether it is planned or unplanned. Windows are frequently that planned or unplanned focal point. Either way, you can make your window a desirable element of your room by either dressing it up - or down - as needed. If you want to make the window stand out, treat it with a bold pattern or color that contrasts with the wall color. If you want the window to fade away, use neutral colored fabrics or fabrics are the same or similar color as the wall.
