What I like about Mishanna and My Decorating Plan is that we feel we are in control. Mishanna gave us a plan at the very beginning for our entire house and we are able to buy items at our own pace as our budget allows. Mishanna never pressures us to buy anything through My Decorating Plan, though we often save money and time by doing so. If I find something I like that is similar to what she suggests, she gives me advice about how it will fit with the plan. Mishanna values our opinions and makes us feel relaxed about the decisions we are making. We had never worked with a decorator before and worried that we might be intimidated by the process. Instead, we found Mishanna to be down-to-earth and fun to work with. She is also realistic. We have two small kids and two cats. Our home is lived in and we never wanted it to be a show piece.
